Let's get real for a minute - there are parenting wins and then there are parenting fails.  One of my fails is instilling a need for a neat and tidy room within my children.  If I was going to be honest (and I will) just last week I had to clean my almost 18 year old daughter's room after numerous requests to pick up, sort and put away her growing mountain of clothing.  I could set a resolution for all three of the kids that they need to do a better job of keeping their space clean and clear, but at this point and time I think it's a pipe dream.

Instead, I gave them the resolution of doing a better job of brushing their teeth.  My oldest is a pro, so she isn't included in this, but my son needs an intervention and my youngest still needs a little prompting to do a thorough job.

To kick start the year and their New Year's resolution, I gave both the younger kids a new toothbrush, oral rinse and tooth pastes on New Year's eve.  I had picked up a couple of the Christmas packages that were in stores for holiday gift giving.   I can already see that it is going to be a bit of a learning curve, and a few reminders, but I think with having the right tools in their hands they can become successful and when we have our next checkups they will (hopefully) receive better reports.

You, too can kick off 2016 with a brighter smile and healthier oral health by entering to win a fun and fantastic Oral B Giveaway Pack.

Be sure to check out P&G Everyday where you can find printable coupons to save on your favourite products, including Oral B money saving coupons which are live now.
