_______________

January is all about new beginnings and setting new goals and resolutions.  It is a wonderful time of year to set new habits that can become routine.  Helping my youngest daughter strengthen her relationship with God was a goal of mine and I'm pleased to be able to help her with the assistance of a beautiful daily devotional and journal designed just for a young child, like her.

The Plans I Have For You is a daily devotional written by Amy Parker.  Amy Parker is a best selling children's author and the book is illustrated by an award winning artist.  This devotional is to inspire children to dream about their future, to focus on faith, love and joy and to recognize that God has a plan and purpose for each and every one of us.

The Plans I Have For You Journal is the accompanying workbook to the devotional and is a great way to put what they've read and their thoughts to paper.  The journal helps kids recognize what makes them special in God's eyes.

We are really enjoying this duo of books.   I am impressed with the awesomeness of both books - they are beautifully written and illustrated and targeted perfectly to the age group of young, but not little children.  My daughter can read and use the journal on her own, or we can work together (which I love).

Now, we have no excuses - we can learn about God and God's plan for her life.  Not just learn though, we can put it to practice in our daily lives.   We've easily incorporated reading and using the books in our daily routines and find it has been an excellent source to spark conversation.

Take a look at The Plans I Have For You devotional and journal and connect on facebook and twitter with Zonderkidz.    Please use the rafflecopter form to enter to win a copy of both.  This giveaway is open to Canada and USA.

I love that it helps to teach your child about keeping a journal and that it is Christian based. (Judy Cowan)

I would love to win this to work through this devotional with my son. It would be a great addition to our school day.
