Using Mr.Clean to Keep My Newly Renovated Bathroom Looking Its Best #15MinuteReno #PGMom

Now, that Thanksgiving is in the rear view mirror, and all those leftovers are used up, it is time to switch gears from giving thanks, to haunting the neighbourhood.  Halloween is quickly approaching and then in November the holidays loom almost instantly.  I feel that Christmas shouldn't really start until after Remembrance Day, but it seems to ramp up on November 1st.

Control The Chaos

I spoke earlier about our impending kitchen renovation and how excited I am to be updating our old kitchen.  But, I will be firm with my contractor that we aren't going to get started with that upheaval if it is going to creep into Christmas.   I don't have time for that kind of chaos on top of the holiday stress.

I also mentioned that we did a complete bathroom gut earlier in the year.  I finally have a bathroom that I love.  Being a home with only one bathroom and five family members does have its challenges at times though.  Daily, I find that I need to wipe down the tub, vanity and sink to keep it looking it's best.  One thing that I've never been very good at is baseboards and that was starting to show in my new bathroom, and that was making me unhappy.  Also, I was noticing a few smudges and smears of dirty little fingers on my freshly painted bathroom wall.

Magic Erasers from Mr. Clean are my friends when it comes to cleaning up that bathroom to its freshly completed shine.

My pretty new white baseboards were starting to get a little bit of a dirty dust build up.

So, I took a damp Magic Eraser to them and quickly freshened them right up. Magic Eraser also worked effortlessly on those annoying smudges and smears on the walls.

I have a friend, she cleans hotel rooms and houses, where ever she cleans ... She LOVES magic erasers. I find them great for quick touch ups when surprise guests come over

I totally agree with you, about the baseboards. Mine look spectacular after using a magic eraser. They are a definite must in this house! :)

It doesn't take very long for baseboards to look pretty bad, especially in the bathroom. I hadn't thought of using Magic Eraser on them. Thanks for the idea.
