New #ThankYouMom Video to Enjoy #PGMom

Some of the best tips I received from my Mother and Grandmother are ones which I still put into practice today.  One which I practice daily is doing the dishes.   I come from a long line of by-hand dishwashers.  The number one tip when it comes to washing dishes by hand is not procrastinating.    Dishes left to sit and pile up in the kitchen sink just doesn't work for families.  First they get out of hand quickly when they aren't tended to, and then the job becomes overwhelming.  Secondly, food hardens and the job just became impossible.  In our home we wash the dishes after every meal and all of a sudden the job doesn't seem as daunting.  So, thank you to my Mom and Grandma for teaching me this domestic life lesson.

Moms all across Canada are there each and every day to cheer on their children and teach them how to make the most out of life.  Moms are on duty 24/7 and no matter the age, children always need and turn to their mothers for advice and help

In my home I rely on P&G products to help keep us chugging along.  Obviously, with my dish story comes  the need for a really great dish soap - I always use Dawn in my home.  In my laundry room, you'll always find Tide to get the grime, dirt and grass stains out and off my children's clothing.  And, in my newly renovated bathroom you will  find Bounty paper towel to make wiping out the sink and tub quick and  easy.

Today, P&G is celebrating all moms and everything they do to help raise athletes and great kids.  P&G’s Thank You Mom campaign is launching an inspiring video featuring Canadian Olympic heptathlete, Brianne Theisen-Eaton and her mom, Kim. Brianne and her mom trust brands like Tide, Cascade, Dawn and Bounty to make sure they’re always competition ready.

About Brianne: Brianne continues to make her mark as one of Canada’s top track and field athletes. She competed in the London 2012 games and holds the Canadian record for heptathlon. She is a silver medalist from the 2013 World Championships and a pentathlon silver medallist from the 2014 World Indoor Championships. She is the first and only Canadian woman to podium in the multi-events at the World Championships. But in addition to sport, Brianne is also an avid home cook, a tradition passed down from her mom. Brianne is counting down the days until she competes in the Pan Am Games.
