We Have a Case of Spring Fever! #ONatural

Finally, the snow is gone, the birds are singing, the days are getting longer and the sun is warming up our world.  My stir-crazy, winter-wearing family is bursting out the door to enjoy some glorious spring weather.

“It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is.
And when you've got it, you want—oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!”
― Mark Twain

As Mother Earth reawakens, we find ourselves drawn to the outdoors in full force.  Yet, it is also the time of year which my youngest, (who is my earth ranger), suffers with seasonal allergies.   Just last week, we visited her ENT (ears, nose and throat) doctor who prescribed  her a nasal spray to help combat her seasonal allergies.  But, being an Orange Naturals Mom, I first turned to Orange Naturals to see if there was a seasonal allergies homeopathic remedy for my young girl.

Seasonal Allergies for Kids

Orange Naturals has both a homeopathic for children and adults, and is a great alternative to what the doctor prescribed.  Since, we already have and use many Orange Naturals products in our home, Seasonal Allergies for Kids is an excellent addition to my homeopathic medicine box during this sneezy, congested, itchy eyes time of the year.

Jillian prefers to take her Orange Naturals homeopathic remedies in some water, but you can also administer it right under the tongue.  As per the instructions, she can take 0.5mL up to three times daily.  If symptoms are severe, children can take the same 0.5mL dose up to twelve times per day, every 30-60 minutes.  *This dosage refers to a child aged 0-11 years, as my daughter, Jillian is 8.5years old.*

Orange Naturals Blog

I always find great tips being shared over at the Orange Naturals blog.  Recently, there was a post full of natural ways which I can help Jillian with her seasonal allergies.  A couple of options are using a netti pot and trying local honey.    Reading about using locally produced honey was something I've never heard of or considered before - but, it really makes sense.  (check it out)

Thanks to Orange Naturals for inspiration and homeopathic remedies - Jillian is able to get outdoors where she wants to be without the suffering of her seasonal allergies.
