Spooktacular Butterscotch Pops
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 package of marshmellows (250g)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butterscotch flavour instant pudding mix
- 6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
a) In a large saucepan melt better over low heat. Add marshmellows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat and stir in pudding mix.
b) Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal and stir until well coated.
c) Using butter spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13x9x2 inch pan coated with cooking spray. Let cool.
d) Using cookie cutters to cut into shapes, insert lollipop sticks and decorate.
The hint of butterscotch is delicious in these Rice Krispie Pops. My daughter, Jillian had a great time cutting the shapes and decorating with icing and lots of sprinkles. Mommy enjoyed eating the left over scraps while she was decorating her shapes.
