Finding Relief with Polysporin Eczema Essentials! #EczemaAndMe

Winter rages on, here in Southern Ontario.  This past weekend was the Wiarton Willie Festival, and our family was begging the groundhog to please, please, please predict an early spring.  The reality is though, that there is lots of winter weather yet to come.

Cold temperatures and windy conditions are hard on our winter ravaged skin.

During the winter, I am so uncomfortable in my own skin.  My skin itches and is irritated.  I'm rather miserable and feel like I could completely just crawl right out of my skin.   I am one of many Canadians who lives with Eczema.

While the exact causes of eczema are unknown, we do understand that it can be caused by soaps & detergents, as well as our environment.  If we are too hot or too cold our skin can react, by becoming itchy and breaking out in a rash.   Common places for eczema to appear are the wrists, hands, feet, backs of knees and face.

Children are susceptible to eczema - two out of my three have been plagued with the rash and itching.  When my oldest daughter was in kindergarten I was pulled aside one afternoon at pick-up and told that she couldn't return to school until I had her cleared by a doctor.  I knew it was just eczema, yet, the school felt she may of had some kind of communicable childhood skin disease.

Polysporin Eczema Essentials is rescuing Canadians this winter from the grips of eczema.

It's time to stop itching, and start restoring with Polysporin Eczema Essentials.  Happily, I've been using this powerhouse trio of products, which have calmed my crawling skin.

The Products:
Polysporin Eczema Essentials Daily Wash is formulated to nourish and moisturize while gently cleansing.  Soap free and fragrance free it is gentle enough for daily use and this product carries the Eczema Society of Canada Seal of Approval.

Polysporin Eczema Essentials Daily Moisturizing Cream is clinically shown to improve and relieve the signs and symptoms of eczema.  It starts working immediately and begins to restore the skin's natural barrier function.  This product also carries the Eczema Society of Canada Seal of Approval.

Polysporin Eczema Essentials Hydro-Cortisone Anti itch Cream is a product intended for short periods of time (no longer than 7 days).  It is a dual action formula that provides fast relief.  While it moisturizes, it helps restore skin.

How the Products Worked for Me:
I've lived with eczema for as long as I can remember.  Over the years I've tried many different products, in the hopes of finding something which really works.  I've looked high and low for a product which offers me relief from my own skin.  I've asked friends and I've asked other moms in the search of itch relief.

During the last few weeks I've been trying out new-to-me products from Polysporin.   The products are non-greasy and unscented and they really work.

I've implemented Polysorin Eczema Essentials into my daily routine and my skin is thanking me.  The products are available over the counter and safe for all ages.  (with the exception of the hydrocortisone, which is recommended for children over the age of two)  The daily wash is my favourite product, as it's not drying like soaps.  A close second favourite product, is the moisturizing cream which has helped to improve my skin quickly by strengthening skin's natural barrier function.  Having the hydrocortisone cream on hand is perfect for emergencies when you need relief quick.   It is clear to me that I've finally found products which give the kind of results that I've longed for - for so many years.

Polysporin Eczema Essentials have helped me to love my skin again!

None of us have eczema, but I do suffer from very dry skin in the winter months. Any cream that isn't greasy is a must for me!

I think I need this for Mimi. She's developed dry little patches. I don't know if it's winter or eczema. Her doctor doesn't seem too worried but, wonder if this will help.

I am loving these products! I cannot believe the difference in my skin since starting and my boys don't have red itchy and sore cheeks anymore. Really great products.

This stuff is great! I use it on my little guys skin as he suffers a great deal from eczema and the winter makes it far worse. It is nice to see how this stuff has held up in a challenge though.
