Join Us As We Explore KRE-O CityVille Invasion #KREOCityVille {#giveaway}

Today, my son, Matthew and I are proudly introducing you to a brand new division of Hasbro KRE-O, called KRE-O CityVille Invasion!

We are super excited for several reasons - KRE-O is a line of affordable construction sets.  The building sets range from simple to the more complex, geared towards  boys between the ages of six to twelve.    KRE-O CityVille is a winner of the PTPA seal of approval and that alone is a pretty big deal.   Matthew and I will be sharing all kinds of news, our reviews and even contest and giveaway information over the duration of the next three months.  Which is perfect timing, (with the holiday season right around the corner) boys in that age range are notoriously difficult to purchase gifts for and we are really happy to open your eyes to the world of possibilities with KRE-O CityVille.  You'll want to follow along with the other official #KREOCityVille ambassador bloggers (use the hashtag to easily find them) to hear their thoughts.   I'm sure the readers are going to enjoy this, just as much as the blogging families.

Matthew, who is ten years old is a pretty typical boy his age.  He loves his scooter, his BMX, swimming and construction play.  Each and every special occasion for the last few years he's asked for and received building sets.  These sets are fantastic from my perspective, they challenge him mentally and he is using his imagination.

Matthew is the perfect ambassador for KRE-O CityVille.  Earlier in the week when our package was delivered, I called him out to take a look at what had come.  He was home sick from school, so he was a little down.  KRE-O CityVille instantly brightened his day.  I watched him as he carefully looked through the building sets which had arrived.  In true boy fashion, he took the time to look at each one carefully, and then tore in.  Following the directions, Matthew had KRE-O CityVille Service Station Scare together in about 25 minutes, and was proud as could be with his cool creation.  It doesn't stop here though - KRE-O CityVille Invasion is much, much more than just a building set.

Dr. Mayhem, KREONS and Sonic Motion Technology

Matthew is having fun watching his building creation come to life, as he battles the villains, and I love watching his imagination take flight through constructive play.

KRE-O CityVille Invasion is like no other building brick set that we've seen or played with before.  The ordinary becomes extraordinary when Dr. Mayhem invades, and its up to Matthew to keep the city he has built, safe.    New figures, called KREONS,  include zombies, gorillas and vampires, they are Dr. Mayhem's evil men sent to destroy the city.  Sonic Motion Technology (sounds and vibrations) is one-of-a-kind to KRE-O, and this is where things really come to life.

The more sets of building bricks you have, the bigger your city becomes, and the more interactive it is.   The possibilities are endless with KRE-O CityVille Invasion.

{To learn more about KRE-O CityVille Invasion, there are some videos you can view.}

Spot the Seal with Teletoon #spottheseal

As mentioned earlier, KRE-O CityVille Invasion is sporting the PTPA {Parent Tested, Parent Approved} seal of approval.   Next time you happen to see a KRE-O commercial air on Teletoon take note - the commercials will show the PTPA seal.   Teletoon has a fun giveaway you may want to participate in, to try to win KRE-O prize packs.

Meanwhile, right here I have a KRE-O giveaway to offer too.  My readers can enter to win KRE-O CityVille SkyScraper Mayhem Set!    If you should catch one of the new commercials airing with the PTPA seal of approval, why not tweet,  or grab a quick picture?  Be sure to share it on your social media channels with the tag #spottheseal.  (If you do, you can come back here and claim extra entries to my fab. giveaway.

The giveaway is open to Canada and USA.  Good luck, and be sure to stay tuned for more KRE-O fun coming soon.

I have a 10 year old and he loves building things. Anything that has to be put together is perfect for him. I imagine this is true for a lot of boys in his age range.

Boys love to build things and then destroy them and then re-build them. I think this would be a hot toy for boys this Christmas just because it'll allow them to build things.

I think that boys (& a few girls that I know) love making things...building, learning and following instructions. I think this is great toy on many levels. Hoping that it does well during the season.

It will be a great toy for Holiday 2013 because building blocks can enhance creativity of kids! With bigger building project such as this one, it will give the kids a way to learn to follow/read instructions, build something that a great in size and make them feel proud!

I like that it is a little different than Lego and can be added onto. The "people" look a little more grown up and cool! Having the PTPA approval helps too. Not much more needs to be said, why it will be a great gift for 2013.
