Giving Back in our Community #PGMom

In our community there is a prominent church with an outgoing congregation.  While it isn't our home church, we have been welcomed by their members many times.  My children have taken part in programs and cantatas,  a few years ago, my family was given a Christmas hamper from this church when we were having a particularly difficult time of things.   I've never forgotten their generosity and kindness, and the good they do for people - people who attend their church and people who don't.

Earlier, in the spring P&G sent out a case of Tide Febreze  for #PGMoms to use themselves or to share.  I kept a couple for myself and then distributed them amongst my neighbours.  One of my neighbours told me she donated the bottle I gave to her, to their church food bank.  (the same church I was speaking about above)  I hadn't realized that the church was running its own food bank!

Then, during the month of June, #PGMoms were given the option of opting in for a Pampers Swaddlers give away.  We could request cases (yes, cases) of newborn diapers to keep, gift, or give away.  I sent out a shout out to my friends, but it seems all my friends are past newborn days.  So, I contacted my neighbour to offer the diapers to the church food bank.  Which they gratefully accepted!

I was absolutely thrilled to give back to a church community which is so welcoming to so many people.    Thank you to P&G for being so generous and offering and sending out the diapers.

This was a truly awesome perk of being a P&G Mom!

I save up most of my annual winnings and donate them to 3 different charities here in Victoria! I love being able to help this way. I don't have money to help, but I can help this way!

Bravo to you!

I have always been impressed with P & G as a company and their values but this is wonderful to hear how they spread joy to needy families. I won a Pampers package through another blogger and I donated it to The Single Parents Resource Centre...it feels good to give back, doesn't it! Such a lovely post, thank you!!
