Are you the next Mom of the Month at Playtex Mommyville? {+ #giveaway}

You may be the next Mom of the Month!

Mom, Momma, Mommy, are all names which are worn as a badge of honour.

Becoming a mommy  is and was the biggest blessing I've had in my life (times 3).  If When I get frustrated with my children, I try to take a deep breath and remember having these children is a privilege, a gift which I've been given.    Watching them grow up (fast) is an honour.  Days turn into weeks, those weeks turn into months and months turn into years very quickly, when you are raising a family.

Playtex Mommyville celebrates moms and all they do each and every day

Sometimes we become consumed in just getting the day in and surviving.  I learned long ago that I need to do more than survive as a mom, I need to thrive as a mom.  Playtex Mommyville is here to help us thrive.

Find a community to thrive

In order to thrive we need to find our place within a community.  Playtex Mommyville is just the place to connect with fellow Canadian moms, who are navigating their way a long the path of mommyhood, by offering advice, and  information to meet the daily challenges.

Are you the next Mom of the Month?

Each month, Mommyville will highlight one real life Mom, and share her inspirational story of motherhood.

Check out Playtex Mommyville, find a welcoming community to participate in and you may even be the next Mom of the Month!

Relax and take it easy when you baby born. No one is perfect and there's only so much you can do. If possible, can your hubby and others to help you. Take some rest!

Don't sweat the small stuff! Your house may not be perfectly clean, your hair might not be perfect, you might wear the same PJs from morning to night but you'll have a wonderful new life to share your life with.

I would say to sleep when the baby sleeps and if you need a break, ask for help!

Sleep when you can and remember the quote, 'The nights are long but the years are short.'

Remember you are not perfect, you don't know everything, and just listen to advise and then make up your mind what you want to do

Don't compare your child to others. Every baby is different!

My advice is to go to a professional with your questions. Older women mean well, but can do more harm than good with some of their old time remedies.

Do not forget to take care of yourself, in all situations listen to your baby first.

Buy used! Everything is so pricey and you really only use things for a short time so you dont need everything!

it never hurts to ask friends and family if they have left over baby items they would like to get out of storage. fancy new gadgets does not make you a better parent. but you know what does... taking the nap while they nap advice. I never listened to that one. I was always tired and cranky from being up half the night and yet still insisted on getting housework done while they napped. I feel bad for poor hubby having to put up with me when all I had to do was nap.
