My Tide is Febreze Freshness Sport - #PGMom

Winter really has had a strong-hold on us this year.  Can you believe it is almost May, already??  Thank goodness the snow piles are finally gone around here in Southern Ontario, but in their wake is mud and lots of it.

Have you ever noticed that children and puddles/mud puddles are drawn to each other?

It amazes me how my children can come in completely filthy.  My son came home from school covered in mud this past Monday.  In the spring time of the year, I have a special rule that when the kids come through the door they must stop and take note of their feet, hands and clothing.  First their shoes must be removed before taking another step, even if it is just running into the washroom for a quick toilet break.  Second, they must look at their hands before smearing them along the wall coming up the stairs into our kitchen.  And, finally, if their clothes have mud on them to strip right then and there.  I can't tell you the number of times I've had an underwear-clad child wander into the house!

Thanks to P&G, I am armed with the detergent which is up to the task of cleaning the mud out of children's clothing the first time.  (Oh, and mommy's too, but we won't talk about that right now.)

My Tide is Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport

A couple of weeks ago, P&G sent me a case of six bottles of Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport.  While I certainly have enough laundry to use all these bottles, I decided to share with my neighbours.  I asked my (muddy) boy to be my delivery man, he took four of those bottles and placed them on the doorstep of four of my neighbours.    He didn't ring their bells or explain what he was doing, I told him not to.  He just placed them and ran home.  It was fun to see my neighbour make a status update on her facebook saying thank you to the person who left her a random gift at her door.  That is exactly what I wanted to accomplish!  I wanted to leave a little gift for a few of my good neighbours, because after all, we all know that good neighbours aren't always easy to come by.

Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport is specially formulated to fight tough stains, while protecting the integrity of  fabric (especially activewear fabrics).   Tide plus Febreze Sport contains renewing freshness technology which releases bursts of freshness throughout the day.

My son is about to start track and field, which is a really good thing - he hasn't stopped running since the day he took his first steps.  But, with track and field will come even more muddy and grimy clothing.  I am ready with my Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport to tackle his sports clothing, as well as his everyday school clothing.

Bring it on spring.  I am ready for all you've got to offer, flowers, sunshine, trips to the park and even the mud puddles.

This is my tide, what is yours?

So did you find it worked compared to regular tide? Good for sweaty clothing too?

Thanks for the review!

Tide will really help to keep your son's sport clothing clean and smelling fresh. My daughter used to be in track and field when she was in elementary school. Those were really fun days! Thank you for this post :)

I like tide, but it is sensitive on my skin.

What a great neighbourhood ditch you got your boys to accomplish!

I am really interested in trying this febreze. I find my hubby's clothes are still stinky after a wash.

Love Tide! I've recently fallen in love with the Tide Pods and can't see myself ever switching to a different brand now.

I love hearing stories of how people do random acts of kindness, makes others feel thought of and special

This would be great for muddy farmers as well (like my mom).

I haven't tried Tide with Febreze yet although I use Febreze spray on my sofas and curtains...never thought to use it in the laundry!

I would love to try this but have not yet seen it in the stores. I find synthetic "workout" clothing to retain a stink and I have been trying to avoid using the detergent specifically made to clean these fabrics. The Febreze scent might be worth a try!

We use Tide most of the time. Did you find this better than regular Tide? Cut oil, grease stains any better?

Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport is what I use, and I absolutely love the way it cleans and smells! I also use the Tide Pods but they don't seem to leave the same fresh smell that the liquid tide does.
