Easter is Coming & so is Harry the Easter Bunny! #KinderMom

Cousins enjoying our town's annual Easter Egg hunt

Looking at these pictures, I am reminded of how glorious the weather was last year at Easter.  Something is telling me that it won't be quite as nice, but none the less the children will have fun.   We've participated in our town's Easter Egg hunt when there is still snow on the ground before, and we'll do it again.  To me, it just doesn't have the same charm, but to the children they don't really care.

Easter 2012
A highlight of the egg hunt is getting a hug from the Easter Bunny.   Now, this isn't Harry the Easter Bunny in my picture, and you may be wondering who I am referring to, in my title.  Harry is the Kinder Easter Bunny, and he will be making appearances in Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver this March.  Harry will be spreading some Easter cheer by sharing samples of Kinder Mini Eggs.  Find Harry's schedule by visiting Kinder Canada on facebook.

Just before Christmas, I had the opportunity to visit London Children's Hospital, along with a small group of other local bloggers.  I saw first hand the difference The Children's Miracle Network is making in the lives of precious children and their families.  The experience was very humbling and truly changed the way I look at my children - I may just hold them a little closer and whisper a little prayer over them.   Kinder Canada is donating $1.00 for each new like on facebook this March.  So, if you haven't liked them yet, now would be the time.   It is completely painless and an easy way to give back.

Yet, what is Easter without chocolate?

I know that Easter baskets all across Canada will contain some sweet Kinder Easter Collection treats.  What will be in yours?  Maybe it'll be one of the adorable Kinder Mix Plush, or new Kinder Mini Eggs.  I am heading out this weekend to grab what I want for our Easter baskets before it is all gone, I've learned that lesson the hard way in previous years.  Take a sneak peak at the exciting new Easter toys and be sure to vote your favourites at Kinder Canada on facebook.

Shake & Win Contest

This week, fans have been having fun participating in a Shake & Win game.  There is still time to head over and try your luck, you may just win a coupon entitling you to a free Kinder product.  Hurry, Shake & Win ends March 8th.

Happy Easter  to all my fellow Kinder-loving  Moms and Dads!  I hope everyone finds a little Kinder in their Easter baskets.  Don't forget to send your family and friends to like the page before the end of the month, it will truly make the difference in the lives of our greatest asset - our children.

Yay for Easter! I didn't know the Kinder bunny had a name, cool! It's nice that it's not something obvious like floppy or hoppy HA! I already like them on facebook but will let others know to show there support, thanks.

My kids will be 3+ this year so the Easter Egg hunt should go better (read: I don't have to find all the eggs that I hid but can't remember where, smile).

Kinder Eggs have been a favourite in our household forever. Off to check out the contest.

Thanks for sharing.
