Valentine's Day is one of my favourite special days with young children. I absolutely love the excitement of getting little valentine cards ready with my children for friends and classmates. Then, when the children bring home their decorated paper bags full of expressions of friendship and love, I am doubly excited!
Feel the Love
This month on Disney Junior Canada our little people will feel the love with all kinds of fun Valentine's Day programming. Gather some fluffy pillows and soft blankets and curl up with your little valentine to watch as some of their favourite characters celebrate the day of love.
Enjoy a morning full of hugs and kisses from our friends, such as Doc McStuffins, Handy Manny, and Jake and the NeverLand Pirates all beginning at 9am on February 10th. Then on Febuary 14th, catch an encore presentation of these friendship themed shows beginning at 7:30am and then again at 5:10pm.
Share the Love
My young daughter was over-the-moon excited to tell her best friend forever (her cousin) that a special Valentine's Day surprise will be dropping in their inbox on February 14th. Jillian designed her little cousin a very special e-valentine on the Disney Junior website. The e-cards are customized by your child to their preference of background, decoration, message and Disney character. Then, when all finished email it right away, or set it to send on the fourteenth.
Show the Love
At the end of last year, we had the chance to go see a live Disney on Ice performance at the Rogers Center in Toronto. This time the show is called Rockin' Ever After. Shows will be in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal, please find all the details and venues by visiting Disney Junior.
Disney Junior has another great giveaway for a prize pack of not only front row tickets to the show, but also air fare, two night stay in Toronto, a character meet & greet, and merchandise! Be quick to enter, as the show the winner would attend is March 15th.
Enjoy the month of Love! Happy Valentine's Day.

We're all excited for the specials on Sunday. I think I'll make us a special heart-shaped pancake breakfast to go along with it.
