Pam, Pam! Can you call my mother? #PGMom

Have you seen this commercial playing on television?

Oh-My-Goodness, it is a favourite around our home. My six year old daughter acts it out (can we say drama queen)?    She gets the whole family laughing.   The commercial is great, but because my name is Pam, it makes us laugh even a little bit more.

Be Prepared!

All I've been hearing on the news and talk shows is how the flu has a tight grip on so many people.    Don't get caught unprepared when the flu hits your home.    I learned this lesson a long time ago, when my oldest was a baby and the feeling of helplessness which overcomes a mom when your baby/children/family/self become ill and you are not prepared.

I come from a long line of Vick's addicts, and I've managed to pass that down to my children.  My youngest daughter keeps a jar of Vick's Vapor Rub by her bed now, and will rub it on the soles of her feet herself.  Vick's Vapor Rub is soothing and a real comfort to everyone in my family.  My husband even carries a jar in his work bag all winter long.

There is just nothing which can compare to Vick's Vapor Rub.

Medicine Cabinet Must Haves:

Vick's Vapor Rub Ointment, Pepto Bismol InstaCool Chewable Tablets &
Vick's Dayquil/Nyquil  Cold and Flu Combo
(always read and follow directions)

Don't get caught without these little life-savers.  You just never know when illness will strike.

My son is sick right now and it really does pay off to be prepared!

Saw the commercial for the first time here on your blog. HA HA HA!

I never even gave Vicks a second thought UNTIL I became a mom. Now there's a little jar in each of our kids' rooms. You're right - it's always good to be prepared!

Thanks for the laughs today :)

Our family lives by Vicks, I also heard if you put it on the bottom of your feet it helps take the fever away more quickly!
