The holidays are behind us, and now starts birthday-giving-season (at least in my home).   Right away my special little niece and god-daughter will be celebrating her birthday.  I now have the perfect gift to give (and send) to my dear little niece!

Dora is an absolute favourite amongst the pre-school and young school aged set.  My daughter who is six still likes to watch them and even plays a game with her grandmother about Swiper.  Swiper is apparently grandma's boyfriend and yet grandma won't seem to admit to it.!

This is a sweet little set for little hands to play with, and stretches young minds with imaginative play.  I love that it comes from the Fisher-Price brand, so we know it is built to last.    Find this playset only at Canada's favourite toy retailer - Toys R Us, and it is affordable for families, with a price of $19.99.

I love the bright, interactive colours, which are perfect for stimulating primary-aged children.  It is a nice size, which is great for taking over to the BFF's home for a playdate.   And, it is just about as cute as it can get.  Just remember it is recommended for kids aged  three and up. 

Toys R Us carries all of our favourite Nickelodeon toys, including Dora, TMNT,  SpongeBob, and Winx.
