Open your door with a smile, thanks to P&G #PGMom {#giveaway}

This is the time of year we invite and welcome friends and families into our homes.  We love to spend time celebrating the season with those we love most.  Yet, with having guests into our home means we want it looking and smelling  its best.

P&G has all the products needed to get our homes guest-ready this Christmas

Whether it is a quick tidy up as co workers are dropping by for a drink, or a more thorough clean to get ready for Christmas brunch, P&G has convenient, easy to use and great smelling products which will get the job done quickly.    Some of my favourite products are the limited edition festive scents.    Febreze Air Effects (cranberries & frost) will have your space freshened up in a couple of spritzes, and your guests will walk into a an instant festive atmosphere.

Always be ready for guests
Store a Swiffer WetJet with Swiffer WetJet Extra Power Pad with the scrubbing power of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser in the hall closet; when friends or relatives let you know that they're just around the corner, you can quickly clean up before they pull into the driveway.
 Hide the mess
Pre-load the dishwasher with Cascade All-in-1 ActionPacs and load dishes as you use them.  If you need to hand wash your dishes use a fast acting dish soap like Dawn Original.  It gives you an overnight soak in five minutes, so you can plan to spend the night with your guests instead of being stuck scrubbing dirty dishes.
 Good lighting is a must
Use lights on dimmers or consider adjusting the lighting of any room by adding candles.  There's no such thing as too many candles - don't be shy about using votives, pillars, and tapers everywhere.  To create a unified scent around the home, use Febreze Candles to add ambiance or as part of a festive centerpiece.  These also make great stocking stuffers or parting gifts for your guests.

I never seem to think the house is ready for pop in guests even though I am ready to welcome them.

I've learned not to sweat the small stuff so I don't really care if my house is "vistor ready" when unexpected guests drop by.

I try to tidy up as I go thru my day so my place is always presentable (just don't try the white glove test!)

I tend to be a little stressful when guests pop up all of a sudden, because it's always when my house is a wreck! LOL

Belinda M said...

I do not like pop in guests but if they do come over my place is usually ready.

I don't get stressed and the house is no where near perfect but we do have a downstairs sitting room which we don't use so that is always tidy and clean for unexpected visitors

If I know they're coming it's ready. If someone is rude enough to just drop by, they deserve to find it messy!

I get stressed if people drop in unexpectedly. I still welcome them, but my house is not always guest-ready.

super stressed. The house is clean but certainly not neat/

The home is orderly but it is homey and comfortable. It is clean but not so much so that people feel like they can not stop over.

Yes, I get stressed if people drop by unexpectedly. I have been trying to tidy everyday just in case, but it seems people only want to visit when my house is a mess :)

I admit I do get a little stressed if people just drop by unexpected. I work shifts and I hate being caught in my housecoat at 4 in the afternoon. Even so, I apologize and welcome them in.

No I don't stress when someone drops by. I am always prepared by keeping things on hand that can be used to serve them.

I get stressed beyond belief. I'm never prepared and then am embarrassed through their whole visit. All I can think about are my dust bunnies...

Totally stressed by even expected guests! We have 3 kids and a dog...we're never ready for company:) ol

I used to get stressed out but the older I get the more I let it go. My house is often cluttered and sometimes there's a little more dust than others, but it's never dirty. The people who love us, who love me will understand that life with kids is busy. If they don't, maybe I don't want them to drop in anyways.

josiefiorda said...

nope, no stress. People know I have messy kids and they still come over so it's all good! LOL!

I think it's only courteous to call before coming over. With a toddler and an infant I definitely need notice so I can tidy.
