It's a Magical Time of Year! #disneyjuniormom

I've always enjoyed the holiday season.  It is a magical, wonderful time of the year.  Though, I will admit that having my own children makes the season much more bright.

I will never tire of seeing the magic of Christmas sparkle in the eyes of my children, and it saddens me to think that each year they grow up a little bit more.   But, for now, I can watch the wonderment of the season shine brightly through their complete excitement leading up to the big day.

During the days and weeks of December, we spend time decorating, crafting, baking, addressing cards, shopping, and sharing our good fortunes.  My children are so happy to share with others this holiday season and proudly take items to school to put under their sharing tree, which will be distributed within our community next week.  The sharing tree is decorated with paper stars with the names of children who have donated.  It gives me pause to see my children's names hanging on the tree.   I was picking up my daughter for an appointment earlier this week and watched the principal help a student get their star ready to hang.  The principal told the student that because of them, another person would get something to eat.

Holiday Fun with the Little Ones

I know there is a lot of hustling and bustling going on this month.  But, don't miss the opportunity to stay inside and spend some quality time with our young children either making a special holiday activity, or watching one of their favourite Disney Junior programs.  How about designing a holiday e-card  to send to someone they love?

Unfortunately our service provider doesn't carry Disney Jr but my 2 year old has suddenly become Disney crazy! She is all about Minney Mouse and Cinderella at the moment. She would go crazy for Disney on Ice!!!
