A Little Update on Purrcilla. Our own little Home 4 the Holidays kitten
This afternoon when my son came home from school, he looked for the kitten as he usually does. When he found her, he brought her out to the kitchen and as he was carrying her, her infected leg expelled a lot of infection. The wound had healed a couple of weeks ago from being lanced, so we knew the infection was again quite severe - if the pressure of the infection was enough to push out on its own. My husband and oldest daughter scooped her up and drove to the vet.
The vet once again opened up two spots on her leg to let it drain on its own.
When my husband stopped at the desk to find out how much the visit had cost, we received a much welcome and a very pleasant surprise. Some kind-hearted, animal loving soul had come to the office and left an amount of cash and said for it to be used towards sick animals which came in over the holidays. Isn't that amazing? I am so thankful for that generosity of that person and for them helping us to save Purrcilla.
