A perfect gift for Canadian girls ~ Maplelea Girls {#holidaygiftguide, #giveaway}

I am so excited about Maplelea Dolls!  I was recently speaking with my sister who lives in the United States about these dolls, and raving about the detail and quality of them.  She knew all about them, and in fact was just browsing the site.  My sisters children are dual citizens, and my sister wanted to bring a little bit of Canada to her daughter this holiday season.

Canada Dolls for Canadian Girls

Maplelea Girls are large 18 inch dolls geared to children aged 6 to 12+ years.  They are designed, researched and sculpted by Canadians for Canadian kids (or collectors).

Maplelea Girls are soft, huggable and have poseable arms and legs.  The girls eyes open and close and they are just about as close to being real as it can get.  Maplelea Girls are not available for purchase in stores and must be bought online.

Maplelea™ is a distinctively Canadian play experience featuring a collection of premium play dolls with journals that celebrate our country's spirit and identity.

Maplelea Girls are from six separate regions of this great country of ours.  Each high quality doll has a distinct character and personality.   Every doll comes with their own journal, which will be half filled out for the doll, and then the other half is blank for the recipient to fill in.

I am a big fan of toys for children which can continually re-invent themselves.  Maplelea Girls are amazing, as they have many accessories which can be given in the future for upcoming birthdays, and celebrations.   You can add to your doll with additional outfits, shoes, pets and furniture.  Each doll has suggested additional items, but mix and match to suit your child's preferences and her personality.

Put a Maplelea Girl under your Christmas tree

We received the beautiful Brianne, I chose her because I thought she most closely mirrored my own daughter and her personality.  Jillian loves all things girly, and is a country girl through and through.    I have plans to continue her Maplelea Girl collection by adding Brianne's pony and riding gear.

Brianne has to be seen and touched to be believed.  She is an absolute beauty.  Her detail and quality is exceptional.  Brianne and all Maplelea dolls arrived well cared for in a collector box.  These are a premium doll  which would make any collector happy, yet they are meant to be loved, and played with.

Maplelea Girls are the perfect gift for all Canadian girls (and boys).

Purchase Brianne or one of her fellow Canadian friends by visiting Maplelea Girls, they retail for $99.99.

I like that they are Canadian,and are of different ethnicities. I like that they are like old-fashioned dolls (no talking, frivolous bells and whistles). They foster imagination.

My daughters friend has one, and brought it over for a sleepover. The doll was three years old, goes everywhere with her, and looks as good as the ones in the catalogue. That says to me, it's great quality, and worth it. sguday at shaw dot ca

I love how each doll is unique and celebrates a culture or heritage. Being Canadian and being a multi-cultural country, as well as a multi-cultural person, I am fascinated by the accuracy.
