E.T. phone home:30 years later #ETPhoneHome

Can you believe that the icon movie is thirty years old?

This movie is one of those which people remember - I can even say, Do you remember the first time you saw E.T.??

I remember the first time I saw E.T. - The Extra-Terrestrial, I was 10 years old and my parents took us to the drive in theatre.  First of all, we never went to the movies, let alone a drive in...it was a very memorable night in my life!

Over time we've all seen E.T. many, many times, but I realized that my own children have not seen the movie.  I am so excited to share E.T. with them, on this very special anniversary, of not only the movie, but also Universal Studios' 100th Anniversary.

In 1982 E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial became the biggest blockbuster of the year, ranking #1 over 16 different weekends.  Even today, E.T. remains the fourth most successful movie of all-time in the United States.

On October 9th, Steven Spielberg's magical adventure celebrates its 30th anniversary.  Featuring all new digitally remastered picture that delivers six times the resolution of DVD, as well as all new surround sound.

Just recently, I happened to catch E.T. on television, (the original version) and I remember thinking how grainy and difficult it was to watch.    Which, made me laugh, because as a kid I was in wonderment at how amazing this film was.

Now, enjoy E.T. brought back to life on this blu-ray combo pack.  The quality of sound and colour is excellent!  Don't forget there are great bonus features of this combo pack.    Both my hubby and I are excited to share E.T. with our children and watch a new generation fall in love!

Find E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial on facebook and twitter.
