Mabel's Labels ~ a must-have for Kids #back2school

Just about this time a year ago, I asked my hubby to help with labeling some of my daughter's items in preparation for back to school.  One of those items was her running shoes, shoes which she was going to keep at school as her indoor shoes.  I asked him to put labels on the soles of her shoes.  Later, when I looked at the shoes I questioned why he hadn't followed through with the task.   Then, he turned the shoe over and pointed out that he had applied the label to the bottom of her shoe.  It made me laugh, but in the end it is my testament to the durability of Mabel's Labels.  Would you believe that those labels held up perfectly and were still in excellent condition at the end of the school year, even though Jillian walked, ran and played in those shoes pretty much every day of the school year?

It's back to school time and it's time to get labeling again.  Using Mabel's Labels is the quickest and easiest way to get your childs stuff ready for school.  Last school year I kept Jillian's labels handy and just peeled and stuck as needed.  Mabel's Labels went on everything that left the house - coats, boots, lunch bags, books, and pencils.   Really, if it goes out the door with your child it needs a label if you ever have a hope of it coming back in the house.   (At least that is my experience.)

Mabel's Labels Tween Pack

These are fun, personalized labels that are designed for big kids.

Matthew is now nine and too cool for hand holding and doesn't seem all the receptive to direction anymore....but, he is a complete whirlwind and sometimes a little bit of a disaster.  At the end of last school year his teacher suggested a little organization might go a long way.  Organization and keeping his belongings together go hand in hand.  I am very thankful for lost and founds, but my goal this year is to keep most of his stuff out of there.  If he can see his name on his belongings with a cool sticker label, I think we could even win this one.

The new Tween pack consists of 25 personalized labels which are dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and UV resistant.

Mabel's Label Ultimate Back to School Combo

My little girl is starting grade one!  This is the package I had a year ago and it certainly contains enough labels to get through the whole school year.  The ultimate back to school combo consists of 40 skinny-minis, 50 tag mates, 16 shoe labels and 2 teeny tags. The Ultimate Back to School Combo is only available until the end of September.

Mabel's Labels offers schools and organizations a great way to fund raise.  I know that our school is currently running a back to school fund raiser.  It is a great way to help your school/organization make some money while getting labels which are a must have for any child.

Did you know that WalMart Canada now carries Write Away Labels from Mabel's Labels?  Should you ever find yourself in the need for last minute labels, be sure to look for these at your local stores.  USA residents stay tuned as Write Away Labels are hopefully making the way to your stores very soon.

With back to school upon us, I can attest to the amount of money which parents spend.  Protect our investment with Mabel's Labels, and ensure we get that stuff back home again.

I've tried a bunch of their competitors but have yet to try theirs. I love that they're Canadian! Thanks for sharing, great review.

Those are lovely! When my daughter was at school we had to mark everything with a permanent marker - boring and rather ugly! These are really pretty and durable - such a good idea!
