This road called Life

Late last summer my sister and her family left their home, and moved into my parents basement.  My brother-in-law had a dream - to go to teacher's college and become a teacher.  So, they both quit their jobs, put the house up for rent, hired a moving truck and off they came.

Not as easy as it sounds with a three year old daughter and an eight week old baby!

It has been wonderful having my sister and her family so close by this last year.  We enjoyed spending as much time as possible together.  My daughter and my niece have grown inseparable.  I've had the unique opportunity to watch my little nephew grow from a tiny infant into a walking toddler.  It has been a fun year and we are sad to see it come to an end.

My brother-in-law has his teaching certificate and he is ready to help shape young lives.  Unfortunately,  there just aren't any vacant teaching positions around here, right now.  So, the question for the family is what should they do next, where should they live?

They are thinking they will return to their home, where my sister could see if she could return to her old job and position.  My bother-in-law may find some part time teaching work at a near by community college.  Then again, this might be the perfect opportunity to start fresh somewhere completely new.  With the purchase of some travel insurance, they could take the chance and move anywhere and start fresh.  Deep down though, I think my sister would like to stay here in the community which she grew up in.

I am excited to see where the road of life will take them next....hopefully, it won't be too far away.

Good luck to them. I'm glad they have some family who can help them out as they reach for their goals.

All the best :) Exciting and sometimes scary packing it all up and starting anew. So happy you are able to spend time with the family and that the kids could be together. I wish my nieces and nephew lived closer so Little One could grow up with them.

I'm always a little jealous of people that can just take a leap and follow a dream. There's so many things I want to do but can't bring myself to upset the norm with something unknown.
