Kids can Bake!

POP ART Tasty Baker Junior Chef Set

Squeals of excitement were emitted by my five year when I took the 5-in-1 Tasty Baker with junior chef baking set by Pop Art out of the delivery box!

We are no strangers to Pop Art products in our home.  We are so privileged to have the opportunity to check out a couple of Pop Art items in our home, and still are using those to this day.  I rave wholeheartedly about not only the quality, but also how fun it is to bake special treats with these small counter-top appliances.

This spring we received a fun new product, geared more than ever to young children.

This is a 12 piece set, which includes everything needed to whip up delicious little cakes, brownies, pancakes, and muffins.

  • whisk
  • wooded spoon
  • mixing bowl
  • measuring spoons
  • spatula
  • measuring cups
  • apron (adorable)
  • timer
  • mitt
  • cleaning brush
  • batter scoop
  • tasty baker

Jillian is so excited to have something to call her own, in the kitchen.  She has always been a great helper and loves to get her little apron on and get her hands in the mixing bowl.  In Jillian's world the Junior Chef Baking Set is her equivalent to my beloved mixer.

She loves all the kid-sized baking utensils and she especially loves the sweet little apron and hot glove

With a little help from mom, Jillian was whipping up her favourite treats within minutes.  As she mixed, we let the Tasty Baker heat up, but first we sprayed it with a little non-stick cooking spray.  Using the batter scoop we were able to get the perfect amount of batter into the kid-friendly molds.  There are different temperature settings, depending upon what you are baking at the time.

Clean up is just as easy, just wipe out with the included cleaning brush and if needed,  use a damp cloth to get any left over debris.

Forget those ovens which are geared toward kids, with the packaged mixes that always end up tasting nothing like what they are supposed to be.  By purchasing a Tasty Baker, especially the Junior Chef Baking Set you are using actual mixes or baking from scratch.  And, your treats bake up perfectly.

It's the long weekend, and the weather is going to be fantastic!  I know the kids are going to be begging to go get ice cream sundaes.  This weekend, Jillian is planning to make homemade brownie bites sundaes using her Tasty Baker, for her family.  We are going to use our favourite brownie mix to make the shapes and then we will put together ice cream sundaes!  I can't wait.  Not only is the treat going to be delicious, but it is so cute to watch the determination on Jillian's face while using the Tasty Baker.

Oh wow - these are SO stinking CUTE! How awesome to help kids be independent with something they usually have to only help with!

Great product!
