#IndigoKids Toy Shop {#giveaway}

Walking though the doors at Chapters is always a welcoming experience.  (It is one of my favourite stores to visit)

On my most recent visit I was walking in with a purpose.  I was there to buy a fourth birthday gift for my little niece.  Did you know that #IndigoKids is full of great birthday gifting options?

Nestled in the back corner of the store I found a bright, kid-friendly area with pleasant staff ready to assist me in finding the perfect birthday gift.  They even have a dedicated cash in the Indigo Kids section, so you don't have to line up at the front of the store.  I was also able to have my gift wrapped, complimentary.

Indigo Kids was a buzz of activity with kids and caregivers alike.  I landed in the midst of March break and found there to be crafts, and stories and even a author/magician putting on a show for the kids.  Even with lots of kids around it was really easy to get around the area, the aisles are nice and wide to accommodate a stroller, or maybe the occasional plasma car zooming by!

Browsing around Indigo Kids, I could quickly locate age appropriate sections.  The signage was very visible and the shelving was low enough that I could stand and look all around and see what was available. 

There was so much to see, and I really enjoyed checking out all the different gift options.  I found lots of well-known brands which my kids are always asking for, and of course a great selection of books.  You can view my whole shopping trip and everything there is to see at Indigo Kids in my Google+ album.

I looked a craft kits, jewelry and dolls, before finally deciding on a Melissa & Doug play set.  And, of course I had to find a special book to go along with my toy - I was so excited to find a book all about birthdays.

As I'm paying for my selections, I remembered to use my plum card to collect points.  It won't be long before I will be cashing in my points and redeem them for a dollar amount off my purchase.

On this occasion I was shopping in-store and I loved every aspect of  my experience.  Yet, I've often shopped online for books and gifts.  My experience shopping online has always been positive as well.  Indigo will ship items as they become available, rather than with-holding the entire order.  Shipping is free when you spend $25 or more and they even offer gift wrapping for online purchases for a nominal fee.

Finding the perfect birthday gift was fun and easy at Indigo Kids, right inside my local Chapters, and I definitely give Indigo Kids my stamp of approval.   But, did you know that Indigo Kids is parent tested and parent approved?  That's right!  Indigo Kids is the first children's retailer in North America to earn the Parent Tested, Parent Approved seal.
