This March Break I am going to try to reign in that chaos and find activities to calm the troops.
Often along side the chaos of too much together time, I always find my children rummaging through the cupboards and complaining that there is nothing to eat.
This March Break, I am incorporating the energy and the cupboard rummaging. We are talking about baking with kids. My newsletter from Life Made Delicious just landed in my email inbox, with great kid friendly recipes.
Why not try this fun recipe? Bottom of the Cereal Box Cookies
Or, another idea I found on the website was a recipe for Edible Art. Pour out some cheerios to make cut outs which the kids can decorate and then eat. Decorating with icing, gel and candies make edible art a fun way to spend some quality time together. With all the varieties of cheerios available, this is one tasty idea!
March Break doesn't need to be chaotic, when you have a plan to keep the kids busy and their tummies happy.
