GeoRex Glow-in-the-dark T-Rex Skeleton {Holiday Gift Idea}

We have a family membership to our local Chidren's Museum, and when we visit my son Matthew heads straight to the dinosaur exhibition - each and every time.  Maybe if you have a boy in your life around the age of eight, you'll know exactly what I am talking about.  It's all about the love for exploring and wonderment of what once was.

Prehistoric Home is a great Canadian company who has a long history in authentic dinosaur bones, and fossils is now amazing children with the amazing Georex Glow-in-the dark T-Rex Skeleton.

The world's most ferocious dinosaur springs to life in this stunning 80 piece, 4 ½ foot tall (140 cm) replica of a real life monster. Assemble the glow-in-the-dark pieces on the rocky display and turn out the lights. This bright, fearsome 1:8 perfect scale dinosaur dominates the dark! Paleontologist designed and approved.

Matthew loves building and assembling toys, so you can imagine his wonderment at this huge assembly toy!

You are looking at the Cadillac of all assembly toys and dinosaurs rolled into one.  I've spent a lot of time looking for building sets for Matthew over the years, and I've never come across anything as deluxe as this fine fella.  Just the sheer size is awesome, but then remember that he glows in the dark - the wow factor just goes through the roof!

When we were at the toy show, I watched as Matthew was drawn to this impressive T-Rex Skeleton.   At first, I thought it was a pre-made model, but then I took a closer look and saw it was an interactive toy which Matthew could build himself.    It comes with easy to understand assembly instructions, which allow Matthew to work on it independently.

Thanks to Prehistoric Home, we've been able to take that enthusiasm from the Chidren's Museum and bring it right into our home.   Matthew is now a little palaeontologist right here at home, piecing together his own T-Rex.  The mom in me loves the educational value of the glow in the dark skeleton, yet, I too,  love that I can walk into a darkened room and see it aglow!

Visit Prehistoric Home to find out more and where to purchase, at a retailer near you.  I'm telling you, this is one amazing toy, which will definitely be received with squeals on Christmas morning.

When my kid's were little I always loved taking them to Children's Museums. It was always fun to watch them learn AND have fun!

That is very cool! Kellen loves stuff like that too. It's definitely the age!
