Eatin's easy with HVR!

Hidden Valley Ranch

There are many staples in our kitchen, things we just can't seem to get by without. Butter, milk, bread, crackers, peanut butter, apples, baby carrots, and now Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing and dip.

And, that brings me to the million dollar question - do you use your HVR as dressing or dip?

In our home we are split right down the middle, half the time we use it as a dressing on a lettuce or pasta salad, and then the other half we use it simply as a dip with our favourite veggies for a quick snack.

When the temperature heats up during the summer months we tend to include a tonne of salads and cold veggie trays, and Hidden Valley Ranch is the perfect accompaniment. Having a bottle or two of HVR on hand makes meal time not only tasty but simple. I love to make a quick pasta salad with crunchy peas dressed with Hidden Valley Ranch.

Did you know.....

  • Hidden Valley Ranch is now sold in thirty countries around the world.
  • What began back in the 1950's by a rancher and his wife, has grown into what we now know as Hidden Valley Ranch.
  • Hidden Valley Ranch is a blend of herbs, spices and buttermilk.
  • By visiting Hidden Valley Ranch, you will find loads of innovative new ideas and products, as well as lots of recipes to try

On a hot day we made a pitcher of lemonaide, made a HVR pasta salad, tossed salad with HVR and bought a deli chicken. Eatin's easy with HVR.

As you can see I had three types of Hidden Valley Ranch to choose from. The Original Ranch, The Original Ranch Light, and The Original Ranch Fat Free. I love the original ranch, but, don't mind the light or fat free version.

If you are struggling to have your kids eat their vegetables, I guarantee a little Hidden Valley Ranch will help make them disappear!

Look for Hidden Valley Ranch at your local grocery store, it is sold right across the country. And, be sure to get in the know by becoming a Hidden Valley Ranch member. Follow along on facebook and twitter as well.

I don't eat salad dressing at all, but everyone else in the family does and that's the only brand they like.
