Aloha Friday ~ Friends Forever?

Welcome to Friday!

Last week at physio I met up with my oldest friend, she was my first friend ever. I met and became friends with her in kindergarten and we went all the way through school together. Now, we live in the same town, and maybe see each other a couple of times a year.

My question this week:

Do you have a friendship that has stood the test of time?
Can you remember your first friend ever?

My friend I met when I'm married. It's been 3 yrs now and it's still going. It's a great friendship. too bad she lives in CA and me in LA.

I have no friends from childhood that are still close. Since I've moved 18 times, it has just been extra difficult.

My first friend ever - Mary, we are still friends today, though not as close as we used to be, we went several years without not talking because she started going to another school - but we found each other through facebook and its like we never stopped talking.

I still know some people I met in Kindergarten but we mostly stay connected via Facebook. I have a couple friends from high school.

I have one fabulous friend that I have know since the late 1980's. We live several hours apart but when we get together, it's like we were never away from one another. She is awesome!

I have one good friend from high school but other than that most of our friends we have met through our kids' activities. Of course the one friendship that has stood the test of time is my husband. He is my very best friend of all!

I went to 3 different schools for kindergarten, so nope on that one. Then moved again in 3rd grade. The one friend I had from 3rd-12th stopped speaking to me my senior year in hs.The friend I made that year that was part of our trio, I have kept track with over the years. The two other people that had my same birthday and I have kept up with each other since middle school (13 yrs old).

Unfortunately, no. My very first friend that I remember was from the preschool I went to.

My friend from childhood and I are not talking a lot right now. Hoping that we can fix this, but not sure if she's willing to admit some fault in the situation. Not going to be guilted. My first best friend was my neighbor and we still chat and see each other from time to time.

I met my best friend, Niunia when I was just 18! We still talk everyday (via email) - she lives in another town! She's just like the sister I never had! :)

I met my best friend when she was working as a teller at a bank I used to bank at regularly when I lived in Seattle. We ended up each others Maid of Honor in our respective weddings, and even though she currently lives in Nevada and I'm in PA, we still talk and email regularly. When we do get together it's like no time has ever passed. :)

One of my dearest bestest friends when I was young was Lisa Bray. She moved from Lakewood to Wesminster and I haven't been able to find her. I have many friends from elementary school on my Facebook.
