Aloha Friday ~ January?

We got through the first week of 2011...so far so good!

My question for Aloha Friday is:

Many people hate the month of January, myself included!

Are you a January hater or lover? What is your trick for getting through the month?

I've never thought about breaking the year up into months I like or dislike. Seems one just runs into another. I do enjoy the crispness in the air but not the frost on the windows I have to scrape off in the morn. Southern winters aint quite as harsh as your Northern ones.

In a way I like it because it gives me a chance to stay indoors and get stuff done.

Have a great day!

I really dislike January. It's such a let-down after the hustle and bustle of Christmas. Plus being stuck in the house is a bummer too with all the snow.

This is when I start planning my garden though and starting some seeds inside for plants that take longer to grow, like tomatoes. By the end of the month, I will have grow lights set up and lots of little seedlings to cheer me up.

I don't mind it at all.
It's not too hot or cold here.

Enjoy your weekend.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily January that I hate, but I would say that I'm a post-holiday hater.

I look at January as a new start.

I dislike it because it had my grabndad's birthday and anniversary of his death all within a couple of weeks, but apart from that it's OK.

I don't mind January. For me it's usually a time to reflect, recharge and start fresh. By February I'm usually over that LOl!

I never really cared for it until I had a little boy who was born on January 24th...so now it is fun listening to him count it down. My BD is in February so when January is over it's my month! ;)

The only reason I don't like January is because it feels like such a LONG month to pay day! :) We get paid on the 15th December in our company, so it takes forever for the end of January to come! Ha!

First of all thanks for stopping by, and I am a follower. I dislike January. I cannot say I hate it because I'm still putting away Christmas stuff & I love Christmas before and after, but I will say between December & January it is my busiest months. My house gets a thorough cleaning, and cleaned again when I put everything away & I'm the only one that gets to pack everything away. Hubby just gets to bring down the boxes. So I'm pooped by February!

I love warm weather. So I start counting down to the first day of spring beginning January 1st!

I love January. It's cold (well, relatively cold for Hawaii) and I can finally get my home back in order from all the holiday chaos. :-)
