Gifts for her and him too ~ FRAAS The Scarf Company

Country Mouse, City Mouse

Welcome to Day 26 of my Holiday Gift Guide
The timing is perfect for this review as I can hear the wind howling around the house as I type.....

The cold winds of winter are blowing and what better way to keep warm, than bundling up with scarf from FRAAS.

Haven't heard of FRAAS before? Well, they are a company that has been in business for 130 years. And, in that 130 years, FRAAS has been the world leader for mufflers and shawls. The reason that FRAAS has been so successful is that they are a forward looking company that continues to expand at a rapid pace and they are constantly implementing new ideas and concepts.

A scarf to me is much more than a cold weather necessity, it is also a fashion accessory. Especially in our long, bleak winters, I love a brightly coloured scarf to add a pop of colour against my winter coat.

For my wearing pleasure I received a scarf from FRAAS in a fiber called Cashmink.

Cashmink is an acrylic and is finer than any natural fiber. It is often mistaken for cashmere, but it is actually 20% finer than cashmere. It is very soft, I love the feel of it against my neck and face.

Cashmink has been a best seller for FRAAS since 1985, the reason being it is so easy to care for. You can launder your cashmink scarf in your washing machine, and then lay flat to dry. Cashmink does not pill or fray...meaning your scarf will look just as good after several years of wear as it did the first day you got it.

I love the generous length of this scarf, making it perfect for wrapping around a couple of times. I like to wear it inside my coat with a burst of colour showing at the neckline. I find I get the most warmth from the scarf wearing it this way.

Hey...I may of actually found a reason to not completely hate winter! Wearing my cashmink scarf may just be it.

Available in a wide range of colours, patterns, sizes and styles this is the perfect holiday gift. You can find FRAAS scarves at Amazon.com, as well as many department stores. Pricing for a scarf similar to mine is in the $30 to $40 price range.

Thank you to FRAAS for joining me during my holiday gift guide.
