Baker's Edge ~ Edge Brownie Pan {giveaway}


I went outside the other night shortly after dark and could hear the rustle of fallen leaves as they blew down our sidewalk. In a couple of days we bid a fond farewell to summer 2010, and welcome fabulous Fall weather! From speaking to many of my readers I know that a lot of you love this time of year and all that comes with it.



Beautiful foliage, pumpkins, farm tours - there are many wonderful outdoor Fall activities. But, this is always the time of year we once again come inside our homes and enjoy firing up our ovens and making some homemade treats. My all time favourite treat to bake and share with my family has always been brownies. Brownies are just one of those bars that always pleases...and now with Baker's Edge Brownie Pan they are out of this world yummy!

My Baker's Edge Brownie Pan is the most valued item in my kitchen since it's arrival a few weeks ago. It is rather sad for my old brownie pan, it hasn't seen the light of day since.

Baker's Edge is a heavy cast aluminum 9" x 12" baking pan with a continuous chamber, which produces the perfect brownie each and every time. Boxed mixes work wonderfully, as does your perfect-from-scratch recipe. Not just for brownies though, I made one of my other favourites - chocolate chip cookie bars, and they were excellent as well.


A look inside the oven as the brownies are baking.

This is the first non-stick pan (that I have owned) which performed as it said it would. I have never owned a pan which was so easy to get bars out of, or to clean after. To slice my brownie treats I used the plastic spatula which came included with the pan. They lifted out of the pan beautifully. When the pan was (quickly) emptied, clean up was merely a wipe out.

Each and every slice was baked to perfection. Each and every slice has two edges. Brownie tops are cracked, the insides are moist and chewy!

Baker's Edge Brownie Pan puts all other pans to shame. And, trust me...I've tried a lot of pans. We have been married for sixteen years and in that time I have made hundreds (if not thousands) of batches of brownies and bar cookies. I have never used a pan that did a better job and produced a finer finished product. If a new baker or someone just setting up their kitchen was to ask me to recommend a baking pan this would be my number one choice. There is no need to mess around with other pans, start with the best and you will never know the frustration of other pans.
