Aloha!

This week's question:

Love it or Hate it?

Back to school shopping. And, what was the best deal that you found?

We are heading into our last week of summer vacation. And, I am so ready for school to start. The kids have had enough together time to last them for a while and I think they are ready for school to start as well.

Enjoy your weekend!

I used to hate it when the boys were younger, but now it's much easier with their help. I also don't stress out to do it all perfectly anymore. Happy Aloha Friday!

I do not like it. However the sale of clothing has been good around here.

I love shopping for school supplies over the summer. I think it's the teacher in me. The clothing is what I could do without.

It's been a long time since I did back to school shopping, but I remember loving it! All the new bits and pieces - really motivated Stacey too, to get going and have a successful year!

This was my first time sending a child off to school so I was more nervous, making sure I got everything on the list etc.

And even at the last minute I didn't realize I needed uniform for the boy!

So not sure as yet.

My only back to school shopping experience so far is from my own school days and I always enjoyed it. Money wise? I'm not looking forward to it, but I always love getting all those new school supplies and fresh new clothes. I hope my kids enjoy the experience.

I found crayons for 20 cents a box at Wal-Mart. I am not too fond of back to school shopping. We can never afford to purchase everything right at once so my daughter usually gets her stuff spread out. By the time October/November rolls around we finally have everything on her list. I don't know what I am going to do once the little ones are in grade school.

Other than curriculum, I don't do back to school shopping since we homeschool. We do check out sales for stocking up on supplies. I like Target and the dollar store, but think Walmart usually has the best deal on craft items.

The only thing I purchase for back to school is the actual school supplies. I don't buy my kids new school clothes. I buy clothes off season and on sale all year round.

I have no kids yet but my brother is visiting and so we bought him some clothes and the best deals we found were at The Children's Place.

Don't really love it, because I can't afford it. But luckily my Mom helps out with some of the school clothes.

And the best deal I got was a new backpack for my daughter that a company sent me that I'm doing a review on. So that was cool.

my son is 4.5 so we haven't had to do a lot of back to school shopping but now he has decided that he must pick out all of his clothes

I fould was $1 boys t-shirts at Walmart...but that still didn't beat the $40 I paid for ALL of the school supplies for my two boys (well, except backpacks, lunch boxes, and a towel for naptime). I'm not sure if it cost less, but saving the time hunting down all the stuff was worth it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog Such Fun to Give and commenting. Blog giveaways are great because they're so easy to win. You usually have like a 1 in 100 chance of winning (maybe less, especially with extra entries). The Lottery...well, that's a 1 in several millian chance. Kinda different odds. :-)

Homeschooling this year for the first time. No need for back to school shopping. Will need to get dd some jeans & winters tops, but will do that after the back-to-school rush.
