Science Fair

Emily had to do a Science Fair project for the first time this year. She ended up getting a L4-, which means about an A-, but it didn't come easy. Emily learned the hard way that working with a partner isn't always what it is cracked up to be.

While she didn't get to go to the regional competition, we are pretty proud of her effort.

Next week she is going to a multi-media festival where she is presenting a comic strip which she made on the computer. It will be a fun day with workshops and working with other kids.

I love science fairs! I just went to my niece's a couple weeks ago and had so much fun checking out the projects and chatting with the kids about what they learned.

The Potato Battery--great project!

Well done Emily! It is hard working with a partner. We found that when Stacey was at school, there was always someone who didn't pull their weight and that puts pressure on the others. Looks like Emily's task was great!

Oh I used to hate working with a partner! Now as the parent I dislike it for an entirely different reason. It is so difficult to schedule time!

Congrats to your daughter for her amazing mark:)
