Aloha!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

Do you remember doing Science Fair experiments and presentations when you were a kid?

Did you go all out or do the minimum?

I've seen that all the time on TV shows and such. But as far as I know they didn't have that in my schools. I never did a science fair. Did you?

Gosh! I never did science at school, only biology. Stacey did science and took it very seriously - I remember her spending hours on projects and assignments. BTW - we are paying about $1.3 USD for a litre of petrol - not sure how much that is in CAD!

I did two science fairs in elementary school. In the 3rd grade I grew bean plants using different colored light (won first place) in 5th grade I collected the carbonation in different sodas to see which had the most... I was the fizz whiz..lol

I remember 4th grade I did a project on the color spectrum and how light shines through water and we get the rainbow.
Sabreena's experiments have been so much more elaborate than that.
happy friday

Things were simple when I was a kid. My kid's world got a bit more complex.

Have a great Friday!

I never liked those things and always did the minimum, sorry to say! But my kids had to do them too and I did love helping them! Happy Friday to all!

I made a "Trash Smasher" for my Dad's office one year. I measured out a piece of wood that would fit his trash can and put a handle on it...so when his trash can became over-filled with paper, he could smash it down. He used it forever, lol!

I do remember doing science projects and my dad always wanted to help and go over the top!

I really don't remember doing them although I'm sure I had to. Science is not exactly my favorite subject.

I hated science projects! I'm pretty sure I did the bare minimum to get by!

NOPE! I don't think I had to do anything. I can remember doing some mini stuff in class and/or at home. But nothing major. :)

I could always tell the parents you had talent with electricity and doing projects.
