Aloha!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

THIS WEEK'S QUESTION:

How have you been taking advantage of the first week of daylight savings time?

I look forward to seeing your comments! Believe it or not, we do not have daylight savings in South Africa! Although the sun is coming up a little later, and leaving a little earlier! There is a chill in the air morning and night, but at lunch time it still reaches 32 degrees Celsius!

I haven't done much yet - when it gets warmer we will probably go for walks after dinner, that is always a fun family activity for us. Happy Friday!! :)

I am not liking daylight savings time. My daughter has decided since Monday we are no longer taking naps.

Wish I had been able to enjoy the sun and nice temperatures. Too much going on this week and so tired from losing the hour ;)

I just love that my husband gets home before it's dark. It makes me feel like we have more time together in the evenings!

Yes, I am so loving it! My girls have been able to play outside after dinner. Then, I give them a bath and they are out for the night, wearing themselves out!

Along with the longer days, we are also having delightful weather here in the desert. We are keeping our shades open longer and our screen doors open. Loving it.

We don't observe DST in Hawaii but I like that a lot of my shows are on an hour earlier.
