Aloha!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

THIS WEEKS QUESTION:

Is your Christmas tree real or artificial?

Our Christmas tree is not real. We aren't able to get PROPER Christmas trees in our area. The last time I had a real tree (it was a fir but not the right one) it made SUCH a mess in my house!

PS Show the children my blog today! I have photo's of the big five taken on our holiday to the Kruger National Park. I think they will like them! :)

We have a real Christmas tree. We go to a local tree farm each year to pick out our tree and we have a great time. We take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day in the country. It's nice to get away from city noises from time to time.

We always get the Real Tree.. I love it right up until I have to take the lights off of it.. and the continuously finding pine needles clear into February.. ( I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Real. I'd love a fakie but my hub won't have it. He says we should then get fake presents and eat fake food as well LOL!

My tree is artificial. I don't believe we've ever had a real tree.

Thanks for the comment at my Aloha Friday. Should I call you Pami or Pami or PamelaBear?

Artificial. I love being able to have it up for the whole month and not have to water it.

Artificial (is a fiber optic) and I love it.

Stopping from An Island Life.

Have a great weekend.

Fake - I've had it for over 10 years. For a few years in between we got a real one, but this year I thought I would save some money by using the perfectly nice fake one again.

I love real trees but my hubby loves the fake tree. I take solace in the fact that its a beautiful, big fake tree. It has seemed to work better for us because the kids cant keep their hands off of it. I could just see the little one eating all the pine needles if we had a real one.

Artificial..one year we decorated a real tree to find out that my oldest son is allergic. His gf thought we were playing a trick on her until they were sitting at the vet's office, real tree, son ended up in the ER. Can't even have Yankee Candles lit that contain any pine, cedar, etc.

Several years ago, my dear hubby decided he was tired of cutting, putting up, lighting the tree every year. Also, that's when the kids quit coming here and we started travelling at Christmas. The answer, then, is artificial.
