Matthew turned 6 on July 30th while we were at the cottage.
We started the day with Matthew and his helpers opening his presents.
Now, he had lots of gifts, mostly from John Deere, but of course when he was finished opening he asked...is that it?
He later said he was really happy with all the gifts he received!
Seeing that it was his birthday and we were on vacation we told Matthew it would be his choice what we did that day.
His first stop of the day....
Next stop was actually lunch, but we haven't any photos of that.
After cooling off and playing at the beach we headed home.
But first stopped to get a special birthday picture of Matthew!

A birthday at the beach....PERFECT!!!
Casey had his 2nd at the beach in January. I loved being there in the winter and then experiencing the beach again in the summer taking note of the differences.
Sounds like you are busy and well! I appreciate every visit you make to my blog no matter how often or how few!

Well, a very happy birthday to your little man!! Glad he had so much fun. We do it all in reverse - we have cake in the morning and presents later on. :)

I love his reaction after opening what I'm sure was a huge pile of gifts!! My son is the SAME WAY! We could give him 100 presents and I think he would say the same thing!!! Looks like a super cool birthday to me ... and I love that cake!

What a cutie!! John Deere is kinda a hip/cool item to wear by the kids. He is ahead of the curve on the "in crowd " with his John Deere hat.
