Aloha!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

This weeks question:

Seeing that today is my baby's third birthday... what is your most memorable birthday?

Thats easy, my 9th birthday. On this day I met my mother came to my birthday party for the first time. I had prayed for it for 45 days (my grandma told me if I did this prayer for 45 days that any miracle I wanted could happen...) so I was certain a miracle had occurred. Actually Grandma just called my mom and finally told her she could come to my party and no one would be mean to her. For a change.

My 40th - without a doubt! I felt confident, grown up and for the first time realised that I was who I was and there would be no change for anyone! I LOVE being in my 40's - wouldn't go back for anything! :)

I think I really only had one big party with friends that I remember. It was the outside kind with those old fashioned games, etc. I was probably about 8 or so. Best party ever!

My sixteenth. It wasn't really anything memorable, just my family and our usual "party" but I felt loved and when you're a teenager, that's SOMETHING!

My most memorable birthday was when I was in my 20's. I dated this guy and he took me to a bed and breakfast that he went to before and decorated the room and left me a huge unicorn on the bed.

It was a GREAT night, hot bubble bath in a claw footed bath... ~purrs~

I don't date him anymore.. but it was the best B-day

My most memorable? Ever since I had children I would say all of them!

when I was younger I used to have pool parties for my friends in the middle of December. Nothing like being in the northeast during a snowstorm and having a pool party.

My most memorable was my 23rd. It was 2 days before my wedding! My second favorite was my 4th, when I got a golden retriever puppy as a gift from my parents.

On my 25th birthday I was on a plane heading to Walt Disney World for vacation. That was pretty memorable.

I also had a slumber party in 4th or 5th grade that I enjoyed but my mom didn't really enjoy it so that was the end of large slumber parties.

My 21st was spent in Las Vegas. It was so great because my whole family went.
