Reflections

Here we are, already ten days into June!

Is it just me, or is time flying?

School is out in two and a half weeks! Matthew is finishing senior kindergarten...school full time next year. Emily is going into grade six! OMG!! And, little Jillian will be going to pre-school two days a week, come September!

What ever will a Mommy do with two child-free days a week?

This is not what I was going to write about tonight, but is what was on my mind...so I just went with it.

Enjoy each and every day, my friends. You never know what tomorrow will bring!

And, enjoy the view from where I stand, on an early spring eve:)

What a pretty view! It's hard when kids grow up and become more and more independant! It's cold and rainy here today - AND IT'S NOT OUR RAINY SEASON!?? Do not understand it, but the weather man sure is confused!!

I'll be there in about a week before the kids get out but lucky you, I don't get any child-free days. What a great reminder - life is too short.

I was just thinking the same thing...how did it get to be June 10th?!

I'm sure you will enjoy your summer and look forward to a few days kid free come Sept!

To enjoy the now is perhaps the easiest and hardest thing to do sometimes.

It takes an active mind and a healthy attitude...

uh, you wont have two child free days, you will have about 3 hours each of those days. Enough time for a nap or to clean your house or blog. And when all your kids are in school all day, its not really all day, its about 6 hours, but its not really even that because elementary and middle and high schools go in and get out at different times...so now you are back to to three hours a day. Society says you should go get a full time job because of those three hours a day...this causes me much laughter, ha ha ha ha ha
I say no.

I am now torn between whether time is flying or moving WAY too slowly. When I think about how Big Brother will be going to school in September and Big Sister (formerly Baby Sister - have you seen the blog this week?) will be one in August I feel that time is going WAY too fast. But now that our newest baby girl is waiting for us in Ethiopia and we are hoping to go get her before the fall time also has a way of creeping by. I am just going to enjoy each day and not think about it, okay?

Well, heck..I've tried to comment twice...hopefully this one will stick! If you see repeated comments, I promise, I have not gone senile during my mini hiatus! lol!

I have missed you, my sweet bloggy friend! I am back and hopefully on a regular basis!

I have a feeling you will be very busy come next fall!

Your photos are so serene!

Every time you post pics from your area, Pam I get so envious - lol I lived in Guelph for a couple years and grew up in Flamborough (Hwy 6 between Guelph and Hamilton) and man... I miss the quiet country life! Living in the big city is SO over-rated!

Enjoy your week :-) (I think I'm just about caught up in blog hopping now- phew!)
