Paris had us for a sleepover

Last weekend we had the opportunity to spend a night in the lap of luxury.
We were the guest of Paris at her lovely little inn that is called Embassy Suites. The beds are soft and the pillows are fluffy.

We were happy!

We don't get out much!!

At the entrance to the hotel, they had the most breath-taking trees.

We couldn't resist snapping a picture.

Here we are enjoying our long weekend....today has been raining and cold all day. Tonight there is even a risk of wet snow. I guess the trip to the garden center may be put on hold for tomorrow at least. Looks like a pretty low key weekend, I feel sorry for all the campers this weekend. I worked at a campground as a teenager, and remember how miserable it was when the weather was sucky.

Interesting Aloha question :-) I love strawberries. I do not usually eat them out of hand. I dress them up with cake or chocolate or tossed in a fruit salad.

The trees are crabapples. Easy to grow and hardy. Crabapples do drop tiny red berries that can make a mess in your yard. Or, the birds will eat the berries and poop red streaks on your house.

BRRRRR! It's our first really cold day here too this season - not a single cloud in the blue, blue sky, but the air is CRISP and windy!
