Aloha!

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog. Don’t forget to visit the other participants! It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends!

This week's question:

As the weather warms and the kids get out of school, does the amount of time you spend blogging (reading and posting) decrease?

The kids being out of school won't have any effect because the ones in school are older and do their own thing most days during summer. But the warm weather will definitely curb my blogging. My Aloha Friday

I would have to say, probably not. I will get it done in the morning, before the kids wake.
Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

OH! (I hope I don't sound arrogant here!) our weather is honestly beautiful all year around - even though our nights and mornings are cold in winter, the days are stunning in the sun - so for me! I don't think it affects my blogging time!

I don't know yet, but I definitely think it will. Or, I will be doing it more at night instead of the during the day.

Decreases because I'm in my pool :)

I like to blog LATE at night or EARLY in the morning, so not really.

I enjoy writing before bed the most. It is kind of like my "reading" as most people do.

I look forward to fun posts this summer of our family adventures and how the garden is going.

I loved your post about Meem. I actually attempted to leave you a pretty lengthy comment, but my computer keeps cutting me off with an alert that your site is not secure.

It would not allow me to leave a comment.

Uggh.

I loved your post about your Meem. It made me smile and I stared at her picture for a bit. She has such a serene presence about her in that photo.

A red car and she does hair...my kind of Meem.

I am so happy she is with the ones she has missed for so long.

Thanks for such a great read from your heart.

.mac :)

My time blogging and reading posts will probably decrese in the summer time as it does in the winter when the boys are in hockey. The summer we are just so busy. This summer we have Kodey in t-ball for the first year and we are usually going on vacations and everything else too. Along with going to the Twins games and also the Saints games. So my time blogging will probably be going down. As it is starting to already. :(

I don't have kids, so nothing will change for me. I will still have a job with downtime and a computer, so I will be reading the same!

it wont for me... b/c i always blogaround at work during free moments.. and those moments wont really change!

Since my husband will be home for the summer (he's a teacher) I would think I would have more time for blogging, but I suspect we'll be busy! :)

probably not... I do most of my blogging in the morning and late at night!

I don't have kids so my blogging should stay the same during the summer.

No doesn't change too much... my kids are still little.. and its too hot here to spend much time outside.

I will sometimes pre-write posts. I love my mornings and so I can still read blogs in the mornings before anyone is up.

Maybe on the weekends because during the week I blog usually while at work. LOL

I think my time on the internet will probably decrease. There is SO MUCH to do outside in the nice weather-especially when the garden is in and I'm canning!

This is the first summer of public blogging for me. I will probably unplug more often...hopefully catch up at night.

We will see but I assume so - if we are at the par or the beach I cannot be blogging!! :) That's okay I am SO looking forward to my summer of going out and having fun. :)

Not really. It will just mean that I will blog and do more at night rather than during the day. Once the big kid is home all summer I will do things with him when the little guy takes a nap.

I would say no -- we homeschool so our schedule is always the same. I usually do my commenting and reading at night when everyone is asleep but I'm kind of laid up due to a fractured tail bone and pain from a ovarian cyst.

My time online decreases altogether as we spend more time outside in the brilliant weather. I have tried to use my laptop in the backyard, but I still haven't gotten over the huge glare the sun leaves on the screen.

I hope so. Lately my blog is sucking the air out of me LOL! I enjoy it but its become a lot of work. Lately I've been sitting down in 3 3 hour blocks and setting up posts to publish later during the week. It has definitely helped! I will still spend the same amount of time peeking around! I love finding great new blogs!

I am not sure. I just started blogging in March, so it remains to be seen....

I'm sure I'll be out and about during the summer days, but hopefully I'll still be able to blog / comment in the evenings.

Audrey said...

Yes - probably will. Just too much to do outside.
Really looking forward to the warm weather.

This is my first summer with kids (old enough for it to make a difference). So far yes..We are spending a lot more time at the park, or in the backyard etc. and less time blogging.

I'm not sure they are going to be in summer camps.

It has decreased with increased sun!!!

OHIO SUCKS IN THE WINTER!!! I must get vitamin D while I can.

BrnEyedGal said...

Probably not...but the time I do it does change...much more at night when he's sleeping or before he wakes up!

Deb - Mom of 3 Girls said...

It won't affect my blogging time - but it will affect the amount of sleep I get! I'll just be blogging later at night... :)

It's my son's summer vacation right now. I thought I would have more time blogging but it's the opposite. We're always out of the house so I haven't been blogging as often. He'll be going back to school on June 8.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I'm sorry to hear about your parent's neighbor and friend.
