The Bunny Princess

The Bunny Princess was in her glory on Sunday afternoon when I allowed her to put on her pretty Easter dress for a little photo shoot. The day was bright and sunny, and the wind was calm. We knew a wintery blast was on it's way for the beginning of this week, so we thought we had better get out and enjoy the day.

I have a picture of all three of my kids sitting on this loveseat with the stuffed bunnies. It has become somewhat of a tradition at Nana's house. Or as Jillian says Nina's house.

This year our Easter plans kick off with the annual egg hunt at an Inn in town. It is always a lot of fun. Papa will be coming, (another Easter tradition) and the weather looks promising for Friday. Last year we still had a lot of snow at Easter, so we are pretty excited that this year that the snow will be gone or minimal. Then in the afternoon on Good Friday we will decorate our eggs.

Our plan is to join Grandma and Grandpa for Easter on Saturday.

This last photo I have submitted to a photo contest. If it is accepted, I may be asking you to help me by going and voting for my picture.

UPDATE: PLEASE VOTE FOR OUR PHOTO AT GLIMPSE. WE ARE ENTRY #5. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

What are your Easter traditions?

Isn't she sweet!

We start off our Good Friday with toasted hot cross buns! Then we fish for dinner - no meat! Easter Sunday sees our Easter Egg hunt and lunch wouldn't been the same without roast leg of lamb with all the trimmings!

We usually go to the Sunrise service at church and then the breakfast afterwards. After breakfast the kids do an Easter egg hunt throughout the sanctuary and it is a really nice time! :-)

It sounds like you have some fun things planned! Your daughter is adorable in her Easter dress and wearing those little ears-too cute!

What darling pictures! Pretty in Pink!

We don't have many plans for Easter, but will be heading to church on Good Friday and then to my mil's for Easter dinner in the afternoon Friday. I may make a small dinner for hubby and me on Sunday. Other than that... no real plans ;-)

You sound like you have a very busy weekend. Have a great time and enjoy the weather. It's got to be better than this past Monday, huh? ;-)

Hugs :-)

This photo just reminds me of why I wish I had a girl sometimes! They are so much more fun to dress up than boys! : )

Your girl is so adorable with those ears on! I am hoping that the snow is almost gone for Easter. Our tradition is to have the Easter Bunny come and hide eggs all through the house. We only hope that Samantha sleeps past 3:30 this year, the last two years have been rough. She gets very excited about finding eggs...what is wierd is she doesn't get this excited about Christmas and sleeps in.

Her bunny ears are adorable!

she's adorable! I will vote for you!
well since we lived states away from every relative we have, holidays are very low key for us. We usually go to the Easter Egg hunt at the school, or sometimes at the park. Easter bunny brings baskets...we hunt eggs in the AM...make ham for dinner...the usual..
