A Word of Thanks

Blogs by Mandy

A few weeks ago I entered a contest at Mandy's, the winner received a new blog header...and guess who won....ME!!

I was thrilled, I was really wanting one of the pretty headers that I was seeing around, but had no idea how to do it myself!!

Now here is the awesome thing about Mandy, (in addition to that she is completely cute and sweet and so easy to work with)....

My name is Mandy and I am a scrapbooker whose mom lives with Multiple Sclerosis. Because I'm into design and scrapbooks, I like to make my blogs pretty. And here's the good news - I want to make yours pretty too!

The idea to help others with blog design came a few weeks ago, when I redesigned my own and had a blog-friend ask me how much I would charge to do hers for her.

Because I didn't particularly know what to charge, I told her that if she'd donate to the MS Society my Bike MS ride (you know, the one I wasn't registered for yet), I would do the blog for her. I registered for the ride hastily so I could send her my donation link, and a few days later, here I am, pedaling my services (pun not really intended, but now I'm enjoying it, because who doesn't enjoy a good pun?) for Bike MS donations.

Now, how amazing is that??? She gives 100% of her proceeds to the MS Society!!! It is a cause near and dear to her heart, and I love this about her.

So run over to Mandy's and get to know her. She is someone you want to meet and get to know.

Thank you so much Mandy, I have loved getting to know you and I love my new look!!
Good luck on your bike race!

Awesome Header!! I noticed the 'new' look as soon as it came up!

Mandy does some really good work! And for such a great cause. I wish I knew enough about it to do the same...I 'think' I might be bike riding for a cause this summer too. I have a LONG way to get into shape for it though.

Wow, that is so awesome! I have MS and research is so important to getting closer to a treatment/cure that doesn't involve injections! Thanks for highlighting what she is doing-out to check out her blog!
