Pea Soup

The fog didn't lift the whole day.

Buses were canceled and the day was dark and rainy. You can see our dirty snow has been quickly disappearing. (Yay)

So, what does a desperate for spring Canadian do on the first decent day?

Barbeque of course!!

Go back a couple of days.

I LOVE to hang clothes out to dry. And, I will from March until November (weather permitting). I seriously looked out and had to decide for a minute if I could manage it. The temperature was about 3C and the sun was shining.

I decided I would have to stand in a snow bank to hang the clothes up and I would only be able to use two sides, so for now, not yet.

Exciting news, Meow Meow has a friend over for the next week.

Her name is Sally and she is Matthew's class pet. Matthew is the student of the week, and he gets to have Sally for the whole week. Stay tuned to see our week's adventures with Sally.

Aw, man!! I thought this post was gonna be some GREAT calorie-free, fat-free, cholestrol-free, sodium-free recipe!!! Just kidding, but I do have to know what you bar-b-qued! Can you tell I have food on the brain? It's called a stressful week and my Slim-fast not being "fast" enough!!

It has been nice temperature wise here, but so icy the last few days so we hadn't gone out. And now it's snowing again. Makes me wanna cry.

I really want to get a clothes line. I love hanging my clothes up. I do hang it on a rack indoors, but I do not have an outdoors line. Are the umbrella ones really good?

When I woke up this morning, I could see that it was really bright outside. I was excited because I thought that it was nice and sunny. No, just snowing a ton. Boo.

I just wanted to stop by again and let you know that I added Mr. Linky to my Thankful Thursday post, in case you would like to join in!

We just got hammered with wind! It has been so bad since last September. We live out in the middle of a field, so the wind really tears up, our roof is a disaster! I wish we had fog =) And I am with you, can't wait to get to hang out the laundry!

Nothing better than BBQ in the SNEAUX! I am sitting here under two blankets with frozen fingers and twos and it's 61 out! And I come to your page and and read you hung clothes and a frozen clothes line...Brrrrrrrrr...HOLLY Macaroni! I bow to you...I'm not worthy! LOL
Y'all stay WARM! have a great weekend! XOXO ~*J*~

Love the BBQ spirit up there! You guys ARE anxious for Spring. I love this kind of day as long as I don't have to be driving in it. The salt air from the ocean always comes in with the fog and smells so good. My grandmother used to hang clothes out on the line and in winter they would freeze dry on the line. She starched sheets too, ugh. And iron them! Just give me my sheets and my dryer. I am spoiled. Love you girl and spring will be here soon:)

Love and Hugs, Laurie

He sure is brave to be grilling out in the snow! I never tried that when we lived in Wisconsin. I hope the weather gets warmer for you. I'm sure you are eager for spring.

Sending you warm sunshine and lots of hugs!
