Pretty Girlie

My husband does not believe in giving flowers. HOWEVER, yesterday he broke down. He asked me Friday night what flower I would like and I said tulips.

Guess who else seems to like tulips?

I planted all kinds of bulbs last fall just before the snow came. I am getting so anxious to see if they come up.

They're beautiful!

I plant bulbs every fall and then I forget about them and then I'm always so happy in the spring when my gardens bloom!

Big fan of tulips too. I'd pick them over roses any day. Enjoy!

I say it's always good to let your guy know what you'd like, then it's nobody's fault but HIS if he screws up. He "done" good. The flowers (& the daughter) are beautiful!!. . .I'm waiting to see if my bulbs come up too.

How pretty :)) I used to get roses every year, but I kind of agree with your husband on cut flowers. I also agree with you and your cutie pie that flowers are really wonderful to get sometimes!! Great pictures.

how pretty. Its funny that I am the one in the family that thinks fresh flowers are a waste of money. I much prefer to buy flowers that go in the ground to enjoy for a much longer period of time.

Nothing prettier than tulips in the spring time - I am also a big fan of daffodils! How thoughtful of your hubby and how precious your princess is! Mine woke up in the morning and said "you're still my Valentine!" and that was that!!! Hehe! No flowers for me!

Tulips are my favorite, and like your husband-- mine NEVER bought me flowers until my birthday this year. I thought the world might be coming to an end. Those are absolutely gorgeous. He did a great job!

Tulips are my favorite too and my husband doesn't 'believe' in Valentines, which is almost as bad as yours not believing in giving flowers! Oh, woe is me...otherwise he is as perfect a husband as I could get.

Blessings over the blogesphere, saw that you know Laurie. She seems very kind.
