You Know You Are Anxious For Spring When....

...You look of photos taken last July at our little town fair on a beautiful summer's eve and can close your eyes and remember the way the sun shone across the grounds as it was setting after a gorgeous summer day.

...You can look at this picture of the kids playing in the slip 'n slide and remember trying not to stand too close for fear of getting splashed by the cold hose water. But, today long for the thought of needing to cool off on a humid June afternoon.

...You are able to take your child out to watch a sporting event (reference below) without having to put on layers upon layers of clothing, and then piling on coats, boots, hats, and mittens. I can close my eyes and feel the warmth of a warm breeze on a July evening while sitting on blankets on green grass.

...You can look at these pictures of soccer and can close your eyes and remember the squeals of children as they play and run about a grassy field at the local highschool. You can see the players stopping to pick a dandilion and blow it into the evening breeze.

...You obsessively check the summer camp's website waiting for 2009 registration forms to become available. You can close your eyes and remember the feel of a mosquito biting you as you walk across a little bridge to find your child's cabin for their week at camp.

...You will the sun to shine warmly enough to melt some of this snow, spring you can't come too soon this year.

Please hurry!!!

I'm so ready for spring, too. I promise not to complain when it's too hot. Just bring spring.

I am ready for no more snow and cold. But Big Brother loves winter because it is hockey season and I want him to get to enjoy the rest of the season. So, I am not looking for it to go by too fast. Plus, if winter ends then so will Spring and Summer and then he has to go to school and I am not ready.

If I could scoop you all up and fly you to AZ for some sunshine and warmth, I would!

Hang in there!

Thanks again for the SSA! I posted it today!

Smoochies!

Oh how I think that I live in the wrong place. We got a couple more inches of snow the other day and I was loving it! But then, we don't get lots of snow either... just lots of rain and gray days. Those, I am done with. I just wish for piles of snow...

The pictures were pretty enticing though... looking at my grass right now, I forget how brilliantly green it gets. Off to look at summer pictures now.

Ugh, I am so ready for spring and summer to get here..I was born in the wrong state, because I hate snow...Michigan is not a fun place in the winter.

Since Winter is the season that I go into hybernation, I am ready for Spring too. I am enjoying the colder weather here in California, but the sun shining at the same time is great too. I just can't stand humidity and I hope this summer is different than the last. Let's all do a Spring Chant!! Love you girl.

My favorite sound of the summer is the sound of children playing and I get it year round here because I live next to a school!

I'm really looking forward to warm weather too. I can't wait to be able to go play at the park again! But I have to say I've really enjoyed our recent snow days too.
