Valentine's Swap

I have always loved Valentine's Day. I love red and pink hearts, and the relief they give to a bleak winter. I have said before I hate the month of January, but I like the month of February. The sun shines brightly and some days there is even some melting going on.

So, to add to the fun I signed up for this awesome swap hosted by An Island Life. She prepared a questionnaire to help your partner to better get to know you.

Questionnaire:

  • What is your idea of a romantic Valentine’s Day?
Before children I would love to get dressed up, and go out somewhere quiet to eat. My sweetie of course, would bring roses.
  • In reality, what is your Valentine’s Day really like?
If it works out (husband not working afternoon shift) we will get take out from our favourite restaurant. - East Side Marios. Drive the half hour home and enjoy the semi-warm food with our children (who got kids meals)
  • If you could have a lifetime supply of your favorite sweet indulgence, what would it be?
I would go for a supply of mint smoothies!
  • Is there any sweet treat you absolutely do not like?
I don't really like coffee flavoured chocolate.
  • If you fell into a pool of chocolate, how would you get out?
I would hope to find a large marshmellow to float on, having it nicely coated in chocolate as I make my way out!

I am sending a gift to Jamaise and Jennifer @ Rundpinne is sending me my goody package.

I am looking forward to getting to know both of these ladies in the next few weeks. And getting an awesome package ready for Jamaise, and receiving an equally awesome package from my partner Jennifer.

Looks like fun!!

Cute! Hubby and I cut out celebrating V-day when we were first dating. We were both in college and struggling (well...still struggling, that hasn't changed!) so just seemed like one of those things we cut out. :(
