Not Me Monday

I did not set a mental goal on the number of loads of laundry I allow myself to do each day. No not me, I am a stay at home mom, who has the whole day to get that said laundry done, folded and put away each day.

I did not have my husband get Subway for Sunday dinner. No not me, I (again) am a stay at home mom who has the whole day to plan a meal and get it on the table each night for my family.

I did not let my children eat goldfish off the church floor on Christmas Eve just to keep them quiet. No not me, I am a good mom with good kids.

I did not go out in the snow without any socks. No not me, I am a responsible adult who knows that is just stupid, as well I am setting an example for my children.

I did not drop my husbands Rock Band box to the floor, when I was cleaning up. No not me, I am a rational, calm individual that never gets frustrated with the clutter in this house. And he would never of seen me do that.

I did not pretend that the skunk in our shed does not exist. No not me, that would not be responsible of me, as I am an adult, who is accountable to her family and her neighbours.

I did not only know about my daughters speech therapy appointment at 1:00pm today, but I also had it written down. No not me, I am (again) a stay at home mom who is organized and knows when and what all her children are doing.

Go to my charming kids to play along. It is good for the mind and soul.

Have fun reading each others, and get a laugh, but support each other too. After all, we are all on this ride of life together. Aren't we?

Hee hee...I have to giggle at the stay-at-home mom having all day to accomplish tasks comment you made! I'm a SAHM too, and sometimes I look around in the evening and wonder, "What did I DO today??"

Yep, us stay at home moms are always prepared and have it all together ;)! We had peanut butter sandwiches last night and I just put my second load for the day in the wash at 8pm (and I really need to do more!)

I'm not a mom and I still don't always cook or clean. We all need a break now and then. ;0)

Great NOT me moments! I feel like we are very similar people living quite similar lives....just many, many miles away! The laundry, the clutter, the eating off the floor....that is MY life!!!

Happy New Year!

Such fun Not Me! Monday confessions! I often think that I should get so much more done around the house since I am currently unemployed and staying at home. But man, at the end of the day I just don't know where the time has gone!

Now that is real life as I see it. I tell you being a stay at home mom, I seem to have less time to do those "chores" that I did when I worked 40+ hours a week. I really enjoyed your post this week.

I love your Not Me list! I have never let my kids eat off the floor, either! ;)

Sorry, my little rugrat somehow deleted my first comment!
